We collect information you provide directly to us through the Historic Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival (i.e. "the festival") website or the Historic Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival Email. We only collect your email address and other contact information such as mailing address and phone number if provided to us by you.  We will not share any of your collected information to other Ragtime festivals and/or third-party entities.

We may use the information we collect to:

• Provide and deliver the information your request
• Respond to your emails, submissions, comments, questions and requests and communicate to you with updates about the Historic Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival periodically throughout the year

Any purchases of badges or donations for the festival are done by a link to PayPal who does the transaction.  We do not receive any sensitive information from PayPal about you except for your phone number, email address and mailing address. If a Purchase is made by mail with a check, we will keep the check until the end of the festival and then shred to discard. Any Credit card payment made during the festival at our sales booth is handled by "World Pay" through Columbia Bank.  The festival does not retain or save your credit card number.

We retain your information you provide to us until notified by you to be removed from our database.

If you have downloaded the app for the Historic Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival, we may send non-promotional or push notifications or alerts to your mobile device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device.

This website and app are not directed at children but the information on both platforms is very child and young adult friendly.  We have a very active youth presence at the Historic Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival, featuring a Youth Showcase concert, two scholarships that are awarded each year along with open piano times where we encourage young pianist to perform for an audience. We do not retain information from a person under the age of 18 without a parent consent. Youth performers Bios and pictures are provided by the parent or guardian and are not shared to any third party. If you have any reservations, questions or concerns about your child’s access to the Site or how information that your child may have provided is used by us, please contact us.
