2026 Historic Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival August 7-9
This Historic Festival is an ambitious, fun filled, musically entertaining extravaganza! After 27 years we are still going strong. This three-day event takes over this quaint gold rush town with lively music and wonderfully happy festival goers. Music is played at 7 locations throughout the town. There is a Saturday evening concert and a Sunday afternoon concert to end the festival.
Event passes are required at the venues, but you can still see and listen to the music at Sina's Backroads Cafe, La Mesa Wine Tasting, and Choc-O-Latte with no pass, as we continue to entertain any and all visitors who wander into the store to share our love of ragtime music.

You may purchase your badges through the mail, online (Using the PayPal link below) or in town at the beginning of the event. If you purchase ahead of time, you will receive a confirmation via email and letter in the mail. You will then be asked to pick up your badges upon your arrival to Sutter Creek at our information table set up in front of the City Hall Auditorium when you arrive for the festival.

By helping to sponsor our musicians you will in turn receive a complimentary all events badge and recognition in the Festival Program. Your sponsorships will help to insure the continuation of high-caliber performers as well as the future of this festival and its continued involvement in the local community.
After the 2019 festival we initiated an ongoing scholarship under the “Historic Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival”, that will be offered to graduating high school seniors with a emphasis in Music and a commitment to study music in their higher education or to a current ragtime youth musician showing natural talent and ambition to further Ragtime music. We have awarded a $500 scholarship to a deserving Senior graduating and/or Youth Musician every year since 2019. We have now increased the amount to $1000 following the 2023 Festival.
